Hawaii actress Tia Carrere voices Lilo's sister Nani (seen here) while Hawaii's own Jason Scott Lee is her local boyfriend-David Kawena.  While Elvis Presley classics are  featured throughout the film, Tia  Carrere also sings "Aloha Oe",  a song written In 1898 by Queen Lili'oukalani.
The animation backgrounds are some of  the most  beautiful cell art since the 1930's  Disney Classics  like Bambi  and  Dumbo.
